Se graduó en Zoología de la Queen’s University, Belfast y completó un doctorado en Ciencias Biológicas. Colin pasó algún tiempo investigando en patología vegetal en la Universidad de Nebraska. Más recientemente, ha sido investigador principal en Agri Food and Biosciences Institute y profesor titular en la Queen’s University de Belfast. “I have been studying the management abiotic and biotic stresses in plants using biostimulants since 1989 and today I am delighted to have the opportunity to join the world leading Maxstim team and contribute to the development of novel solutions for growers and turfgrass managers.” As a plant pathologist and a world renowned nematologist, Colin has worked with many world leading growers in Europe and beyond. With over 150 publications to his name he is recognised as one of the leading plant disease specialists in the UK.
Graduating from Queen’s University, Belfast in Zoology and completing a PhD in Biological Sciences Colin spent some time researching in plant pathology at the University of Nebraska. More recently he has been a Principle Investigator at the Agri Food and Biosciences Institute and a senior lecturer at Queen’s University, Belfast. Working with DEFRA and the European Union, Colin has also been instrumental in contributing to plant disease protection policies creating food security for the UK.
